Kim Grant founded Kim's Pets in 2002 after losing her beloved cat Sid of 12 years to lymphoma. Touched by the gifts and cards family and friends sent her, she developed a pet loss bereavement line for our animal companions. Kim's Pets specializes in pet memorials and urns, birthday party accessories, pet strollers, paw print accessories, Singles and their Pets(SM) social group, fundraising and more.

Singles and their Pets(SM)
Singles and their Pets(SM) is a social group for pet-loving singles in the Raleigh-Durham area. The group enjoys social activities with their pets such as a dog walk & dinner at a pet-friendly restaurant and Singles and their Pets Mixers. Articles
Kim publishes an online newsletter to inform pet owners of new products, pet trends and pet-related news and writes articles for the singles community. She has been featured in local publications and on local television stations such CBS affiliate WRAL-TV 5 in Raleigh where she was invited to discuss pet safety. Kim contributes articles to Carolina Newswire and The North Carolina Journal for Women. Join our Email List to receive the newsletter.

Fundraisers
Kim has been volunteering at and donating to animal shelters in Massachusetts and North Carolina since 1997. She has donated hundreds of dollars to rescue groups such as SPCA of Wake County, SNAP NC, Second Chance Pet Adoptions, CARE for Animals and Wake County Animal Shelter. Kim's Pets is donating a percentage of the sales from the canine heroes shirts in honor of search and rescue dogs of 9/11 to The Bear Foundation in New York.

Kim's most recent fundraiser was a Pet Mixer and Katrina Fundraiser for animals displaced by Hurricane Katrina. She can be reached at 919-414-5507
