Theresa Brett is Chief Learning Officer for CAI (www.capital.org) in Raleigh, NC an employer's association specializing in creating exceptional workplaces through expert HR advice, services, and training for all levels of management.

Ms. Brett has over 20 years of management and executive level experience in human resources, organizational development, and training. She integrates best practices from leading companies and industry experts into practical management solutions that get results.

She holds a master's degree in Education and has completed her doctoral level coursework in the area of Organizational Development. Ms. Brett is a graduate of the nationally recognized Organizational Behavior program of the Gestalt Institute in Cleveland, qualified consultant in Myers Briggs, the Profiler, and Lominger assessment tools, and an experienced Corporate Coach associated with Coach U.

Under her leadership, Ms. Brett has successfully partnered and coached executive management on human resource and learning strategies to create competitive advantage, launched two corporate universities that have become models for delivering high quality education for business leaders, led the design and implementation of succession planning and strategic planning processes to achieve strategic goals, and implemented performance management systems to reinforce the behaviors, skill, and knowledge required for organizational success.
