Expert's Corner: Larrin Devereaux Principal and founder, Chress
Larrin Devereaux is Principal and founder of Chress, an online local business marketing strategist, focusing on lead generation for locally focused businesses. Unlike other mainstream SEO services, Chress differentiates itself by not creating pay per click campaigns or other popular web marketing tactics, but rather focusing on the traditional and proven lead generation method of "making the phone ring". Chress' motto is, "we make the phone ring, you make the sell".
Mr. Devereaux has a vast experience in the local markets of advertising, having built and maintained over 15 websites while an undergraduate at UCLA and having taught web design and marketing at Chapman University in 2004. Since building websites, he has transitioned into web marketing, successfully managing local search campaigns for numerous southern California local businesses focusing on Real estate and related services. He has brokered deals with the Orange County Register which recently launched a local search department of their own. Previously he was a Program Analyst, at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA), from 2002 to 2005, where he designed input automated applications and assisted in implementation of mainframe and web-based Applications as well as other marketing and administrative functions. Mr. Devereaux completed a Masters of Arts in Computing and Education from Columbia University in 2006, and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Sociology, with a Computer Programming minor from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2002.
